Program Description
Explore My Son Sanctuary, one of Vietnam's most important archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hidden among lush green hills, this remarkable temple complex was the spiritual and political centre of the ancient Kingdom of Champa.
After hotel pick-up in Hoi An, travel to My Son, where your guide will introduce you to the fascinating history of the Champa civilisation. For centuries, the sanctuary served as a place for royal religious ceremonies and as the burial site of Champa kings and national heroes.
As you walk among the remarkably preserved red-brick temples, you will discover the impressive craftsmanship of Champa architecture and learn why this unique site is considered one of Southeast Asia's most important cultural treasures. Its outstanding historical and artistic value earned My Son a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
After the visit, you will return to your hotel in Hoi An.
The order of the itinerary and the programme may be subject to change.
