Program Description
Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of Vietnam's most remarkable historical sites. This extensive underground network offers fascinating insight into life and survival during the Vietnam War.
Upon arrival, your guide will introduce the history of the tunnels and explain their strategic importance during the conflict. You will then watch a short documentary illustrating how the tunnel system was built and how local people and guerrilla fighters lived and operated underground.
During the visit, explore preserved sections of the tunnel network, including underground kitchens, hospitals, storage rooms and weapon workshops. If you wish, you can also crawl through selected sections of the tunnels to experience their narrow passageways firsthand.
The experience concludes with a tasting of cassava, a staple food for the guerrilla fighters during the war. Visitors may also choose to try shooting historical firearms at the nearby shooting range (optional, at an additional cost).
After the excursion, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City.
The order of the itinerary and the programme may be subject to change.
