Program Description
Discover the cultural and natural highlights of Ninh Binh Province on a full-day excursion to Vietnam's ancient capital and the breathtaking landscapes of Tam Coc, often referred to as "Halong Bay on land."
Your journey begins in Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam. Here, you will visit the historic Dinh and Le Temples, admiring their intricate architecture, impressive sculptures and beautifully preserved decorative details while learning about Vietnam's early dynasties.
The tour continues with a traditional boat cruise along the Ngo Dong River through the spectacular scenery of Tam Coc. Glide past dramatic limestone karsts, lush rice fields and three naturally formed caves carved by the river over thousands of years.
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, set off on a relaxing cycling tour through the peaceful countryside. Ride past traditional villages and discover the landscapes, history and everyday life of rural northern Vietnam.
After the excursion, you will return to Hanoi.
