  • All bags are subject to a security inspection before entering the museum.
  • Visitors under the age of 17, active US military personnel and government officials receive free admission with valid ID.
  • Members of the American Alliance of Museums receive free admission.
  • On the first Friday of every month, New York City residents can enjoy free admission between 16:00 and 20:00 (up to two adults per booking, with proof of residency). Advance reservation is required and tickets are subject to availability.
  • You can download the free MoMA Audio app before or during your visit.
  • MoMA ticket holders can enjoy selected discounts at participating local restaurants.
  • MoMA members receive early access on Saturdays and Sundays from 09:30 to 10:30.
  • Please present your MoMA smartphone ticket at the main entrance.
  • Your ticket is valid for one-time admission only. Re-entry is not permitted.
  • Due to the museum's popularity, waiting times may vary.
  • Scooters, skateboards, rolling luggage and items larger than 11 × 17 × 5 inches are not permitted inside the museum.
