Visit Central Park Zoo, a charming wildlife attraction in the heart of Manhattan. Although it covers just 6.5 acres, the zoo offers the chance to get remarkably close to animals from around the world, making it a great destination for visitors of all ages.
As you explore the zoo, you'll encounter snow leopards, bears, sea lions and many other fascinating species. Its compact layout allows for close-up views of the animals, creating a more intimate and engaging experience than larger zoological parks. Central Park Zoo also served as the inspiration for the popular animated film Madagascar.
A visit to the zoo is a perfect way to combine wildlife encounters with a stroll through one of New York City's most famous parks. Whether you're travelling with family, friends or on your own, it's an enjoyable escape from the city's fast pace.

- Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
- There are no storage lockers available on site.
- Last admission is 1 hour before closing time. Animal exhibits close 30 minutes before the zoo closes.
- Attraction availability may be affected by weather conditions, visitor capacity, maintenance or animal welfare requirements.
- Commercial photography and filming are not permitted.
- Tickets are non-transferable and not valid for resale.
- Re-entry is not permitted.
- Not suitable for wheelchair users
