Program Description
Discover three remarkable destinations that showcase Tunisia's rich history, cultural heritage and Mediterranean charm. From the vibrant streets of the capital to the legendary ruins of Carthage and the iconic white-and-blue village of Sidi Bou Said, this excursion offers an unforgettable journey through the country's past and present.
Your first stop is Tunis, where you will explore the city's historic medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Together with your guide, you will wander through narrow streets lined with traditional houses, colourful souks and local artisan shops, discovering the authentic atmosphere of Tunisia's capital.
The journey continues to Carthage, once the powerful capital of the Phoenician Empire and today one of Tunis's most prestigious districts. Here, you will visit the impressive Antonine Baths, one of the largest Roman bath complexes in North Africa, as well as the Roman amphitheatre and the Punic Necropolis, remarkable reminders of the city's glorious past.
After a lunch break, you will travel to Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia's famous artists' village overlooking the Gulf of Tunis. Its whitewashed houses, blue-painted doors, cobbled streets and breathtaking Mediterranean views create one of the country's most iconic landscapes. There will also be free time to stroll through the village, relax in a traditional café and soak up its unique atmosphere.
