Program Description
For more than a thousand years, Montserrat has been an important pilgrimage site, and today you can reach the mountain in a unique way - by taking the Montserrat Cable Car. Its history dates back to 1930, and the journey offers sweeping views of the Catalan landscape.
Once you step into the cabin, you will begin your journey towards the famous Santa Maria de Montserrat Monastery. Along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views of Catalonia, with plenty of opportunities to take memorable photos and admire the mountainous surroundings.
At the top, you will visit the Benedictine Santa Maria de Montserrat Monastery, which has attracted pilgrims and travellers for centuries. You will also see the famous statue of Our Lady of Montserrat, closely connected with the site's centuries-old traditions.
After your visit, you will take the cable car back down.
