During this guided walking tour, you will journey back to the 10th century and explore the fascinating story of Polish kings, rulers, and bishops. The tour begins at the Main Market Square, right next to St. Mary’s Basilica, one of Kraków’s most iconic landmarks. Together with a knowledgeable guide, you will explore the highlights of the Old Town, including the impressive Barbican, remnants of medieval city walls, Collegium Maius - the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University, the historic Cloth Hall, and the Bishop’s Palace. The final part of the tour takes you to Wawel Hill, the former residence of Polish kings. You will see the majestic Wawel Royal Castle and the Wawel Cathedral, a place of royal coronations and burials, offering a fitting and truly royal conclusion to your walk through Kraków.
