Program Description
This excursion takes you deep into the majestic Atlas Mountains. Travelling by 4x4 off-road vehicle, you’ll navigate winding mountain roads to reach three spectacular valleys - each with its own unique landscape.
The first stop is the Ourika Valley, just 35 km from Marrakech. Here you’ll find green terraces, babbling streams, and waterfalls. The road then climbs higher, up to 1,800 meters above sea level, where a viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramas. In the distance, snow-capped peaks rise above the serene mountain silence.
Next, you’ll continue towards the Oukaïmeden Valley, where you’ll glimpse daily life in traditional Berber villages. Clay-and-stone houses, mules as the primary means of transport, and people smiling despite the rugged conditions - this is the real Morocco.
The final stop is the Asni Valley, filled with orchards and fruit groves, surrounded by the towering peaks of the High Atlas. For much of the year, snow-covered summits contrast beautifully with the greenery of the valleys and the deep blue skies.
After a day full of landscapes, encounters, and local stories, you’ll return to Marrakech with unforgettable memories.
