Discover one of the Kenyan coast's most remarkable hidden gems – Marafa Canyon, also known as Hell's Kitchen. This spectacular natural formation is famous for its colourful rock walls, carved by erosion into a breathtaking landscape unlike anywhere else in Kenya.
The journey to the canyon is an experience in itself, taking you through striking landscapes of red and white rock formations before reaching this extraordinary natural attraction.
As you explore the canyon, you will learn about its fascinating geological history and the origin of the name Hell's Kitchen, inspired by the intense heat that builds up within the gorge.
