Program Description
Discover Malindi, one of Kenya's oldest coastal towns, where African traditions blend with a rich history and Portuguese heritage. This half-day excursion offers the perfect opportunity to explore the town's highlights and experience its unique atmosphere.
Stroll through Malindi and discover the daily life of the local community while visiting a bustling local market filled with fresh fruit, vegetables and regional products. It is a great opportunity to experience the authentic atmosphere of this coastal town.
You will then visit the historic Vasco da Gama Pillar, one of the oldest European monuments in East Africa, commemorating the Portuguese voyages of discovery. Before returning, browse the local Akamba Handicrafts stalls, where you can purchase beautifully handcrafted Kenyan souvenirs made by local artisans.
