Program Description
After being picked up from your hotel, head to Malindi for a short tour of the town before continuing to Robinson Island, located around 40 km north of Malindi.
On the island, visit a unique restaurant built using mangrove roots, coconut palms and white sand. Lunch will be served at the restaurant, followed by time to relax or swim in the warm, clear waters of the Indian Ocean.
Continue to Marafa Geological Depression, also known as Hell’s Kitchen. This striking sandstone canyon features colourful, layered gorges formed hundreds of years ago and is managed by the local community.
The name Hell’s Kitchen refers to the high temperatures that can reach up to 50°C in the deeper parts of the gorges. Accompanied by a local community guide, you can walk down into the canyons and discover their distinctive rock formations.
After the tour, return to your hotel.
