Program Description

Discover the spiritual and cultural heritage of southern Kenya with a visit to Kaya Kinondo Forest, one of the sacred forests of the Mijikenda people and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For centuries, this unique forest has served as an important spiritual and ceremonial place for the Digo community, who continue to preserve their traditions and perform rituals here.
