Program Description
Two nights, two exceptional destinations and plenty of opportunities to experience Kenya up close. This safari takes you in search of wildlife as you explore the vast landscapes of Tsavo East National Park and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Mombasa and a journey towards Tsavo East National Park. Wildlife viewing can begin along the way, and once you arrive, lunch awaits at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Later, you'll head out on an afternoon safari, keeping an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and other inhabitants of the park. After a full day of exploring, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
The second day begins with a morning game drive, giving you another chance to head out in search of wildlife. After breakfast, you'll continue towards Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, with more opportunities to spot animals along the way. After lunch at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, you'll set off on another safari - this time exploring the sanctuary and continuing your search for its wildlife.
Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary will be the next stage of your African adventure. After your afternoon safari, you'll return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. By the end of the day, you'll have had another opportunity to experience Kenya's wildlife up close.
On your final morning, you'll once again head out on a game drive before breakfast and your journey back to Mombasa. Over three days, you'll explore two different areas of Kenya and have several opportunities to go on safari at different times of day. Rather than a single short wildlife experience, you'll have time to patiently search for animals and observe them in their natural surroundings.
This trip is perfect if you'd like to swap a few days of beach relaxation in Mombasa for an adventure surrounded by African wildlife. Tsavo East and Taita Hills, morning and afternoon safaris, and stays in safari lodges come together to create a journey where every day brings another opportunity to discover Kenya.
