Program Description

A cruise along the southern coast of Sardinia is a great way to explore places that are difficult to reach by land. The protected marine area of Capo Carbonara is known for its varied coastline, hidden coves and distinctive Mediterranean landscapes.

After departing from the port, you’ll follow a scenic coastal route. The first stop will be Punta Molentis – a beach recognised for its shallow, sandy seabed and granite rock formations. You’ll have time here to swim and relax in natural surroundings.

During the cruise, a seafood lunch on board will be served, offering a taste of local flavours. The route will then continue towards Cavoli Island, where you’ll see a restored 19th-century lighthouse, one of the characteristic landmarks of the area.

Another stop is Cuccureddu Beach, a quiet cove accessible only from the sea. Its light sand and changing shades of water make it a peaceful place to spend time away from busier spots.

Along the way, you’ll also pass by Porto Giunco Beach, with a tower located on a high cliff above the coastline. The nearby Notteri lagoon adds to the distinctive landscape of this part of Sardinia.

At the end of the excursion, you’ll return to your hotel.

The order of visits and the programme may be subject to change.

The trip was a success, with beautiful views, good food on board, and wine and water with dinner. We managed to stop and swim at two great beaches. The guide was friendly and approachable, and she told us a lot. My only comment is that, as in previous reviews, the captain decides about the cruise and the places we see; the guide has no say in the matter. We happened to stop at these two beaches, although this isn`t always the case, so it`s a bit of a gamble.

Beautiful views and wonderful beaches. The food on board was excellent. If you`re looking for a peaceful and quiet swim, I wouldn`t recommend it – the ship is very large and very crowded. We loved it.
