Program Description
An exceptional experience awaits you at the foot of one of Europe’s most famous volcanoes – Mount Vesuvius. During this tour, you will immerse yourself in the world of Italian winemaking, where nature, tradition and flavour come together in perfect harmony. A guided walk through vineyards located on the fertile volcanic slopes allows you to experience the aromas of ripening grapes and understand why this region has been renowned for its wines for centuries.
During the walk, the guide will tell you about the traditions of vine cultivation at the foot of one of the world’s most famous volcanoes and explain how the fertile, volcanic soil influences the taste of the wines. You’ll learn why wines from this area are appreciated far beyond Italy’s borders and how the vineyard landscape, combined with views of Vesuvius, creates a truly unforgettable setting.
After the vineyard walk, you will be invited to a Mediterranean lunch, prepared with fresh local ingredients and perfectly paired with selected regional wines. You will taste Falanghina, Lacryma Christi, Aglianico and other characteristic wines of the region. Each glass tells a story of volcanic soil, sunshine and generations of passion for winemaking.
