Program Description
Discover the masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance during a guided visit to the Uffizi Gallery, one of the world's most renowned art museums. Your tour begins with an introduction to the works of Giotto and Masaccio, pioneers of Italian Renaissance painting. As you continue through the gallery in chronological order, you will discover masterpieces by Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and many other celebrated artists. Highlights include The Birth of Venus, The Annunciation and Doni Tondo.
While exploring the elegant corridors of the Uffizi Gallery, you will also enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Florence through the museum's historic windows.
After the guided tour, you are welcome to remain in the gallery until closing time. Take the opportunity to visit the Uffizi Café, where you can enjoy a coffee or a traditional Italian spritz while admiring the views from the terrace.
