Program Description
Visit Tropea, one of southern Italy's most picturesque towns, often referred to as the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Perched on a dramatic cliff overlooking crystal-clear waters, the town captivates visitors with its spectacular scenery, charming streets and authentic Calabrian atmosphere.
During a walk through the historic centre, you will explore narrow alleys, lively piazzas and traditional Italian architecture. You will also visit the town's most important landmarks, including the Norman Cathedral and the iconic Santa Maria dell'Isola Church, beautifully perched on a rocky promontory above the sea and regarded as one of Calabria's most recognisable landmarks.
The excursion also includes a tasting of regional products, giving you the opportunity to discover the authentic flavours of Calabria. There will also be time to purchase local specialities and traditional souvenirs.
