Program Description
Discover the enchanting town of Taormina - one of Sicily’s most picturesque destinations, beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the Ionian Sea and the majestic Mount Etna. Famous for its Mediterranean atmosphere, elegant streets and breathtaking scenery, Taormina has been attracting travellers from all over the world for centuries.
After crossing to Sicily, You will travel to Taormina, known in ancient times as Tauromenion. During a guided tour with a local guide, You will discover the history of this remarkable town and explore its most beautiful corners. Walking through the charming streets of the historic centre, You will experience the atmosphere of one of Sicily’s most elegant seaside resorts.
During your free time, You may visit the famous Greco-Roman Theatre (optional), one of Taormina’s most iconic landmarks. This extraordinary monument impresses not only with its ancient history, but also with spectacular views of the sea and Mount Etna rising in the distance.
The programme also includes the opportunity to stroll through Villa Comunale (optional)- beautiful public gardens filled with exotic plants, colourful flowers and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Sicilian coastline. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Sicily.

Important information
For guests staying at Hotel Solemare and Hotel BV Kalafiorita, a shuttle service will be organised from the hotel reception to the main bus pick-up point. Please be at the reception 20 minutes before the excursion departure time.
The shuttle service is provided for the outbound journey only. After the excursion, the return to the hotel will be on foot, as the route back is downhill.
