Program Description
Discover the vibrant city of Naples - the capital of southern Italy, where history, culture and authentic Italian atmosphere come together in a truly unique way. Famous for its lively streets, impressive monuments and spectacular views of the Bay of Naples, the city offers an unforgettable glimpse into the heart of southern Italy.
The tour begins with a walk through the historic centre of Naples, during which You will explore some of the city’s most important landmarks. You will visit Piazza del Plebiscito - one of Naples’ most iconic squares - located next to the impressive Royal Palace. Along the route, You will also see the famous Teatro San Carlo, the oldest continuously operating opera house in Italy, as well as the elegant Galleria Umberto I, known for its magnificent glass dome and beautiful 19th-century architecture.
The walk continues towards Piazza Municipio, one of the city’s main squares, where You can admire the atmosphere of Naples and observe everyday local life. During your free time, You will have the opportunity to stroll through the streets, enjoy shopping or taste the famous limoncello liqueur - one of the best-known flavours of southern Italy.
The programme also includes a transfer or drive to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the spectacular Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius rising above the city. It is the perfect place to admire one of Italy’s most recognisable landscapes.
