Your first stop is Morano Calabro, one of Calabria's most picturesque hilltop towns, nestled at the foot of the Pollino Massif. Stroll through its historic centre, admire its narrow streets and stone houses, and experience the authentic atmosphere of a traditional southern Italian village. Overlooking the town are the ruins of the Norman-Swabian Castle, offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
The journey continues to the Pollino Lavender Park, often referred to as Calabria's own Provence. Surrounded by fragrant lavender fields, you will discover around 60 varieties of lavender, including the region's unique Loricanda variety.
