Your walk will begin in the Old Town of Kalamata, where, among narrow streets and traditional architecture, you will discover key landmarks. This is where you will truly feel the city’s history and its everyday local rhythm. Along the way, you will pass small artisan shops offering regional products and unique handmade goods.
Next, you will visit a vibrant local market, full of colours and scents. Here you will find fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs and regional specialities at great prices. It’s the perfect place to observe daily life and taste authentic local flavours. Afterwards, you will head to the modern part of the city, where stylish boutiques and cosy cafés await.
There will also be time for culinary delights – you will sample local treats such as Kalamata regional olives, aromatic olive oil, traditional pasteli and honeyed figs. It’s a great opportunity to discover the flavours the region is famous for.
At the end of your experience, you will relax by the sea – the seafront promenade and marina offer the perfect setting to sit down with a drink and enjoy beautiful coastal views. It’s a moment to unwind and fully take in the atmosphere of Kalamata.
