From charming streets and impressive historical monuments to breathtaking coastal scenery and the island's famous olive oil, this journey offers the perfect introduction to the diverse beauty of Lesbos.
Your first stop will be Agiasos, one of the island's most picturesque mountain villages. As you stroll through its narrow cobbled streets lined with traditional houses, you will experience the peaceful atmosphere of a place where time seems to stand still. It is the perfect setting for memorable photographs and an opportunity to discover the authentic character of Lesbos.
The tour will then continue to Moria, home to the impressive Roman Aqueduct. Nearly 2,000 years old, this remarkable structure is one of the island's finest examples of Roman engineering and a lasting reminder of Lesbos' rich history during the Roman Empire.
Next, you will visit a traditional olive oil mill, where you will learn how one of the island's most treasured products is made. You will discover why olive oil has played such an important role in the culture and economy of Lesbos for centuries and have the opportunity to purchase locally produced olive oil directly from the producer.
In the second part of the day, you will travel along the spectacular northern coastline of Lesbos. The scenic route offers stunning views of the Aegean Sea, with stops at some of the island's most beautiful viewpoints, providing excellent opportunities to capture unforgettable photographs.
You will also visit the Church of the Holy Archangels (Taxiarchon), one of the most important pilgrimage sites on Lesbos, renowned for its unique atmosphere and beautifully decorated interior. During the excursion, there will also be free time to enjoy lunch and relax on the beach.
