Program Description
The Kefalos Peninsula is one of the most picturesque and peaceful parts of Kos, where traditional Greek atmosphere meets beautiful scenery and relaxation by the Aegean Sea. This half-day excursion allows you to discover the more authentic side of the island - away from crowded resorts and busy tourist areas.
The tour begins with a visit to a family-run honey workshop, where you will learn about local beekeeping traditions passed down through generations. You will taste natural honey and regional delicacies, as well as discover unique products made from donkey milk, valued in Greek traditions for centuries.
Next, you will stop at one of the island’s most beautiful panoramic viewpoints. From here, you can admire stunning views over Agios Stefanos Beach and the small island of Kastri with its characteristic white chapel - one of the most iconic and photographed landmarks on Kos. It is the perfect place for memorable photos and a moment to enjoy the spectacular scenery.
The excursion then continues to Old Kefalos, the former capital of the island. During a walk through this charming village, you will see a traditional windmill and visit a local house that offers insight into everyday life on Kos in the past. The programme also includes a tasting of local products, allowing you to discover even more flavours of the island.
The rest of the excursion will be dedicated to relaxation at Agios Stefanos Beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches on Kos. Turquoise waters, a peaceful atmosphere, and views of Kastri Island create the perfect setting for отдых and swimming. There will be free time to swim, relax under the Greek sun, or enjoy lunch at a traditional seaside taverna. If you wish, you can also swim across to Kastri Island and visit its picturesque white chapel overlooking the Kefalos coastline.
