Program Description
Discover the art of French perfumery with a visit to the Fragonard Perfume Museum, located next to the Opéra Garnier in the heart of Paris. This unique experience combines a fascinating museum tour with a hands-on workshop where you will create your own signature fragrance.
Your visit begins with a guided tour introducing every stage of the perfume-making process, from raw ingredients and extraction techniques to distillation, blending and bottling. You will also learn about the expertise of master perfumers and the creative process behind the world's finest fragrances.
The second part of the museum showcases an exceptional collection of historic perfume bottles and accessories, tracing the history of fragrance from Ancient Egypt to the 20th century.
After the museum tour, you will take part in a perfume-making workshop, where you will learn about the olfactory pyramid before creating your own personalised eau de toilette to take home as a memorable souvenir.
This experience is perfect for anyone interested in French culture, craftsmanship and the timeless art of perfume making.
