Program Description
Explore the underwater world of the Red Sea aboard a unique vessel inspired by the tomb of Queen Nefertari. This cruise from Makadi Bay combines underwater observation, guided snorkelling and a 3-course lunch, with pick-up included for a convenient start to your experience.
Board the Nefertari, a distinctive vessel whose design draws inspiration from ancient Egypt and the famous tomb of Queen Nefertari. After approximately 20 minutes of sailing, your first encounter with the underwater world begins.
Head down to the underwater observation deck, where panoramic windows allow you to admire coral reefs and marine life without entering the water. Approximately 45 minutes are dedicated to exploring the Red Sea from this unique perspective.
Next, put on your mask and snorkel for a closer look beneath the surface. During approximately 45 minutes of guided snorkelling, swim in the clear waters of the Red Sea and discover the underwater scenery of Makadi Bay.
After your time in the water, enjoy a 3-course meal on board. Depending on the option selected, you will be served lunch from a set menu featuring a choice of seafood or chicken.
The experience also includes an ancient Egyptian-inspired photo session. You will have the opportunity to dress up as an Egyptian king or queen and take memorable photos against the distinctive setting of the Nefertari.
This experience brings together snorkelling, coral reef observation, a scenic cruise and ancient Egyptian-inspired surroundings, giving you two different ways to experience the Red Sea - from the water and from the underwater observation deck.
Important information
- Infants must be seated in their own seats and cannot travel on an adult's lap.
- Hotel pick-up is provided by shared bus and usually takes place approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The exact pick-up time depends on the location of your hotel.
