Program Description
Discover the authentic side of Cyprus on a full-day excursion combining history, traditional villages and local flavours. From historic landmarks and mountain scenery to artisan food and wine, this tour offers the perfect introduction to the island's rich cultural heritage.
Your journey begins with a visit to the Church of Saint Lazarus in Larnaca, one of Cyprus' most important religious landmarks.
Next, you'll experience traditional Cypriot life at a donkey farm, where you'll have the opportunity to taste local products and watch the preparation of the island's famous halloumi cheese, one of Cyprus' best-known culinary specialities.
The tour continues with a visit to a local winery, where you'll learn about Cyprus' centuries-old winemaking tradition and enjoy a tasting of carefully selected regional wines.
Lunch will be served at a traditional tavern in the picturesque mountain village of Vavatsinia, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.
The final stop is the charming village of Lefkara, renowned for its handmade Lefkaritika lace and fine silver craftsmanship. You'll have free time to stroll through its narrow streets, browse local shops and soak up the village's unique atmosphere.

Too much time for the first object. Not enough time for the donkey farm.
It was a really great time, you get to experience some Cypriot culture, see some real life, and above all, taste it all. :) The great tour program ended with a visit to a mountain restaurant, where we had a delicious 15-course meal. The incredibly cheerful gentleman kept pouring wine and at the end, he let us "try" the moonshine, and his enthusiasm was contagious. I highly recommend and greet the guide and Mr. Cristof, who speaks excellent Polish.
