Program Description
The underwater world is home to countless fascinating creatures, and Lanzarote Aquarium gives you the chance to see them up close! As the largest aquarium in the Canary Islands, it is home to hundreds of marine animals - from colourful tropical fish to sharks. It is a great attraction for families with children and anyone interested in discovering more about ocean life.
During your visit, you will explore 5 themed zones featuring a wide variety of marine species. You will see clownfish, moray eels, pufferfish, sea anemones, octopuses and rays. The aquarium is also home to hermit crabs, sea bream and colourful betta fish. Each tank offers a close-up look at creatures that are often difficult to spot in their natural habitats.
One of the main highlights is the huge central shark tank, where you can watch these fascinating predators swim and observe how they move underwater. For a more hands-on experience, head to the touch pool, where you can get a closer look at sea urchins and sea cucumbers.
