A day full of unforgettable experiences awaits you as you explore the island’s exotic vegetation, visit a traditional banana plantation and discover the modern Poema del Mar Aquarium in Las Palmas. It is the perfect combination of relaxation, sightseeing and stunning scenery.
The tour begins with a drive towards the northern part of the island. The first stop will be the botanical garden located in the Guiniguada ravine, considered to be the largest botanical garden in Europe. This remarkable place impresses visitors with its rich collection of plants native to the Canary Islands. Walking among palm trees, cacti and exotic vegetation, you will discover the natural beauty of Gran Canaria and learn more about the island’s unique flora.
Next, you will visit a traditional Canary Islands banana plantation, where a guided tour will introduce you to the secrets of growing one of the island’s most famous products. You will learn interesting facts about banana cultivation and see what everyday life on the plantation looks like. At the end of the visit, you will enjoy a tasting of local products, allowing you to experience the authentic flavours of Gran Canaria.
The next part of the excursion takes you to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the island’s vibrant capital, known for combining modern city life with a seaside atmosphere. Here, you will visit the modern Poema del Mar Aquarium, which offers a fascinating journey into the underwater world. You will see sharks, stingrays and hundreds of exotic marine species, while huge panoramic windows and spectacular underwater tunnels will make you feel as if you are walking on the ocean floor. It is one of the most modern aquariums in Europe and a true highlight for sea life enthusiasts.

Reviews
A very nice trip, which my wife and I listened to with interest about the catacombs, the formation of bananas, and the icing on the cake, the aquarium, it was a bull`s eye, I recommend this place, the atmosphere is great
A highly recommended excursion for flora and fauna enthusiasts. During the excursion, you could learn a lot about the endemic plants of the Canary Islands, understand the workings of banana plantations, and finally, admire the underwater world enclosed in the spectacular aquarium in Las Palmas. The guide`s dedication is noteworthy. Throughout the tour, she shared her knowledge of both the areas and locations we passed and visited. She also shared interesting insights into banana farming. She was also willing and attentive to answer additional questions about the specifics of life in Gran Canaria.
