Program Description
Spend the day discovering the most spectacular and photogenic locations in northern Fuerteventura. You'll escape the crowds and experience places where life moves at a slower pace. This journey takes you along some of the island's most beautiful beaches and hidden gems. It's the perfect choice if you're looking to combine relaxation on stunning white-sand beaches with exploring the island's lesser-known corners.
Your adventure begins in El Cotillo, a former fishing village that has preserved its peaceful atmosphere and distinctive white-and-blue architecture. It was here that renowned Polish traveller Martyna Wojciechowska famously said that although it was her first visit, it certainly wouldn't be her last. As you stroll through its narrow streets, you'll experience authentic island life and discover what everyday life looks like away from the busy tourist resorts.
Next, you'll enjoy free time at Playa Concha, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. With its soft white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters and gentle waves, it's an ideal place for both adults and children to swim, unwind or simply relax while listening to the sound of the Atlantic Ocean.
You'll then stop at the historic Torre de Tostón, a former defensive tower built to protect the coastline from pirate attacks. From here, you'll enjoy impressive views of the dramatic western coastline and the nearby beach, popular with surfers. You'll also see Faro de Tostón, the island's most colourful lighthouse, instantly recognisable by its striking red-and-white stripes.
The tour also includes a visit to the famous Popcorn Beach, where the shoreline is covered with naturally formed fossilised algae that resemble pieces of popcorn. This extraordinary natural phenomenon has become one of Fuerteventura's most iconic landmarks and provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable photographs.
You'll also visit the Corralejo Natural Dune Park, where vast golden dunes meet the deep blue Atlantic Ocean. Walking among these impressive sand dunes feels like stepping into a desert landscape, even though you're still on the coast. It's one of those places that stays in your memory long after your holiday ends.
There will also be free time in Corralejo, the island's largest tourist resort. You can stroll along the lively waterfront promenade, browse local shops or relax in one of the town's charming cafés.
The itinerary also includes a photo stop at one of Fuerteventura's best-known landmarks - the beautifully restored Molino de Antigua, a traditional windmill that has become a symbol of the island. You'll also visit Las Salinas del Carmen, home to the island's historic salt works, where sea salt has been produced using traditional methods for centuries.
This excursion is operated in a small group of no more than 8 people, travelling in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus with an experienced guide. The intimate group size creates a relaxed atmosphere and allows you to enjoy the spectacular landscapes and unique charm of northern Fuerteventura at a leisurely pace.
The order of the itinerary and the programme may be subject to change.
