Arrival in Istanbul in the morning. Breakfast included. Sightseeing bus excursion with crossing of the Asian part of the city on the suspension bridge over the Bosphorus, which connects the two continents on which the megacity is located. You will have the opportunity to see also the Rumeli Hisar and Anadoluhisar Golden Horn fortresses, the Galata Tower and other interesting landmarks of the city. Take a leisurely stroll through the historic old town. Immerse yourself in the rich history of Sultan Ahmet Square, where you will find the Roman Hippodrome with the Ancient Egyptian Obelisk, the Snake Column, the William II Fountain and possibly the impressive Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque). Step into history in the 1st courtyard of Topkapı Palace and take a look at the exterior of St. Sophia's Church.
Explore the vibrant markets of Istanbul, including the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Market. Free time for shopping, a walk and lunch. Thanks to the guide, you can learn about the city`s history and the monuments near the former hippodrome. An unforgettable experience visiting the Blue Mosque. It`s a shame the program didn`t include a visit to the Hagia Sophia. Stunning views during the Bosphorus cruise. The trip was a bit arduous due to the overnight journey from Bulgaria. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel. I have fond memories of the whole experience.
