Program Description

Pickup from the hotel. Drive to Kitulgala, from where you will start an exciting rafting trip on the Kelani River. During the rafting, you will be able to see the typical hilly humid zone agricultural areas around Kitulgala. Both red and yellow varieties of bananas are grown here - the yellow bananas are only about 8 cm long, but are sweeter and tastier than the commercial varieties available in the West. Rubber trees are also grown in the higher areas. Back to hotels.
