Hotel pickup. Drive to the port of Mandraki, which overlooks the windmills near the fort of St. Nicholas, the new market square and the public administration buildings that reflect the history of Rhodes Town. It is believed that the Colossus of Rhodes once stood at the entrance to Mandraki harbor, where there are now two statues of deer. Drive to the hill of Monte Smith, where the remains of the Acropolis of ancient Rhodes are located. The massive pillars of the temple of Athena overlook the temple of Apollo, the Diagoras stadium and the harbor. Next, drive and walk along the Street of Knights, lined with colorful marble and decorated with magnificent mosaics, among medieval towers and ornate facades. Free time to shop in local stores for handmade jewelry, handicrafts and souvenirs. Return to the hotel.
