The central part of the island of Evia is famous for its abundance of vineyards and fertile soils, which are ideal land for viticulture. The region is also home to award-winning wineries, and more and more winemakers are opening locations there. Some of the best months to visit the vineyards are August and September, when the harvest and wine production take place, but the rest of the months are equally charming.
